Wayfare — AI-orchestrated travel
April 2026

Wayfare is an AI-orchestrated travel platform that assembles an entire trip — hotel, airport transfer, ground transport, and payment — into one continuous itinerary instead of three separate bookings. Tell it where you're headed and why, and a travel agent AI builds the trip, then adapts it in real time: rebooking a transfer when a flight slips, holding a room past a late landing, settling payment without a card in sight. For business travelers, the same agent enforces company travel policy invisibly — approving in-policy bookings instantly and escalating only genuine exceptions — replacing the travel desk with a policy-aware AI that never sleeps.

UX use cases
Consumer One-tap multi-leg booking
Enter a destination and dates; the AI assembles a hotel near the meeting or venue, an airport transfer, and ground transport into a single checkout with one price and one cancellation policy.
Business Pre-approved corporate checkout
An employee searches within company-defined parameters; the AI approves and books instantly with no manager or travel-desk sign-off, escalating only genuine exceptions.
AI orchestration Real-time trip adaptation
When a flight is delayed, the agent reschedules the airport pickup, notifies the driver, and adjusts the hotel check-in automatically.
Loyalty Fee-free flexible cancellation
Premium members get one-tap cancellation up to departure, with the AI proactively suggesting rebooking options if plans change.
UX journey
1. Trip intent captured AI
A simple prompt — "Chicago client meeting Thursday, need a hotel and airport pickup" — is parsed into structured requirements..
2. Itinerary assembled AI
The AI selects a hotel near the meeting, times the transfer to the flight's arrival, and bundles ground transport into one itinerary.
3. Policy check for business trips AI
Corporate bookings are validated against company policy silently; only genuine exceptions are routed to a human approver.
4. One-tap confirm and pay
The traveler reviews the assembled trip and confirms with a single in-app payment — no separate checkouts.
5. Live trip monitoring AI
Flight status, traffic, and hotel availability are tracked throughout the trip, with transfers adjusted automatically as things change.
Positioning and differentiation
One itinerary, not three bookings
Wins by treating the trip as one orchestrated unit, not a bundle of separate marketplace searches.
Policy-aware, not policy-blocking
Company travel policy is enforced invisibly by AI, not gatekept manually by a travel desk.
Adaptive, not static
The itinerary keeps working after checkout — real-time rebooking
